Turnabout Mutant pt 5

Raymond went inside the room where the evidence were being stored in the precinct. he found the list he was looking for when someone grabbed his hand away from it.
"What the?" he said and saw a young woman with black hair in a bobbed and purple eyes. she seemed to be around the same age as Raymond.
"What do you think you're doing?" she asked. "if you're planing to steal that list you're sadly mistaken."
"Hey, we need that list to track witness down to Allen And David's!" Raymond protested. "We got to help James Kent defend his client!"
"You need to approach a different angle with this case. that list has been tampered." she warned. "There is another way to get around this."
a young man in a black suit entered the room. black hair and blue eyes. he seemed a bit familiar to Raymond that he reminded him of someone else.
"Did you find anything new Miss Roth?" he asked.
"I discovered the list has been tampered with before the prosecution took it in as evidence. this may be forged evidence, but the original list is out there somewhere."
"Damian...isn't he the son of...no...it can't be. there's no way he could be Bruce Wayne's son. it must be my imagination but I'm getting this nagging feeling that he is." Raymond thought.
"I sense that you have a lot of questions for my partner, to clear things up he is the son of Bruce Wayne." the girl said. "I sensed it in your soul."
"Whoa! she sensed my soul? I could of sworn she was a mind reader!" Raymond thought.
"The soul speaks different volumes than the mind. it is the core essence of your being." she explained. her purple eyes looked deeply into his soul. "I am Rachel Roth, but most of my friends, teammates, and co-workers call me by my codename: Raven."
"Well my name is Raymond Black, Codename..." and Damion cut him off.
"We know. Ray-Man. the guitarist blessed by the gods of rock." Damion said. "I have sufficient data on you."
Raymond grew pale and swallowed air.
"No need to worry Mr. Black, I have been looking for you and Miss Kinny with this case that James needs help on." Damian said. "My father would find it difficult to trust you but I'm sure that you're trust worthy enough. you just need to...mature a little bit in other areas of yourself."
"So you have sufficient data on that too?" Raymond asked.
"from what I can tell I suspect they are just rumors. there is not sufficient data to pinpoint if it is true or not. high school students spread rumors and gossip around so much that its annoying" Damian said. "I don't waste time with rumors and gossip. my priority is dealing with facts and possibilities. I rely on science but I also consider the possibility of the divine to lead to the truth. that is why Rachel Roth is my partner. while I deal with the side of science on my part, I also rely on Rachel with the spiritual side of things to discover the truth."
"Were you two hired by James with this case?" Raymond asked.
"No, but when I heard about this case I knew I had to help him out, Rachel and I are working with the detectives. you have heard about my father and it is true. because of his paranoid and obsessive behavior which the root cause was because he witnessed the murder of my grandparents and that man was never the same when his life went to hell. I have inherited a lot of his traits but I'm my own man."
"So since you two were searching for my partner and I, care to join forces? I'm sure James needs all the help he can get." Raymond said.
"I will be willing to cooperate with you if you will be true to your word." Damian said.
I don't back on my word. its in my core being." Raymond said and he was truly honest. he never backed on his word about something.
"Mr. Wayne, I just received information that the suspected ring in this case was last seen near the city dump. witness say from the near by incident went flying when the attack occurred. it might have been damaged during the attack." a young man said over the phone. he sound British from what Raymond could gathered. "How ever, if it is damaged, this could prove that Mr. Summers was attacked and couldn't have been the culprit."
"That's good news William." Damian said.
"after looking into Mr. Robert Dawson, if he gets his hands on that ring, he might with hold that ring until Mr. Summers gets the guilty verdict. Mum and I are not too pleased with Mr. Dawson being the prosecutor with this case." William informed.
"Is that your butler?" Raymond asked.
Damian transferred his phone to Raymond.
"Mr. Black I presume? My name is William Allen Morgen, grandson of Alfred Pennyworth. I am not a butler of the Wayne Organization but I am their personal detective and body guard. it is my brother Miles that is the butler to the family."
"I'm sorry Mr. Morgen." Raymond apologized.
"I am not offended Mr. Black, so any apologies are not necessary" William said and Raymond handed the phone back to Damian.
"Mr. Wayne, I will report any new and crucial information once my men pick up on very important clues and decisive possible evidence. the forensics teams are hard at work and will report to me if they find anything new. I should expect a call from them at any point and will report it to you. I'll see you latter. Goodbye Mr. Wayne." and William hung up.
"Before we move to the scene, Laura and I still need to interview Mr. Jameson." Raymond said.
